Andrew McClain Adams

Andrew Adams is an intellectual property attorney based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, with nine years of experience representing clients across the creative industries. A North Carolina native and graduate of Wake Forest University School of Law, Andrew advises a diverse client base ranging from international music publishers to artists negotiating their first professional deals. Andrew is a frequent speaker on issues at the intersection of entertainment law and technology and currently serves as Chair of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Sports & Entertainment Law Section.

A former musician, Andrew brings a practical, artist-informed perspective to his work with creative clients, allowing him to understand not only the legal issues at stake but also the real-world realities of the entertainment industry. Outside of his practice, he is committed to public service through pro bono work as a guardian ad litem. In his free time, Andrew enjoys playing guitar and piano and competes in ballroom dancing.
